About Sarah L. Yoon
The root of my work is curiosity, joy, and healing. On the personal side, that includes loving my Korean-American home and going on adventure hikes with my family. On the professional side, these roots have grown into a wildly diverse garden of writing and art.
I wrote for interior design magazines from 2012-2020, interviewing countless designers from New York to Hawaii. These publications immersed me in beautiful designs and helped me develop my intuition as a digital and watercolor artist. I have published articles on the craft of writing and poetry as well. I’m currently invested in writing meditations on faith.
In my art, I'm drawn to clean lines, bright energy, and playful subject matter. I revel in beautiful food, garden friends, and fantastical visualizations for processing mental health. I’m currently rounding out my portfolio and developing collections for art licensing.
I thrive on solid deadlines, clear goals, and supportive teamwork. I love having a variety of projects that allow me to grow, both professionally and artistically, even when that means developing greater flexibility or learning a new skill entirely. Collecting capabilities and digging deeper into my art is such a joy.
