It’s time to revive Dear Light
A few years ago, I sent 100 postcards as part of my Dear Light project. It was drawing practice with purpose, where I got to carry cards around with me everywhere, drawing whatever I found interesting, and then sending those cards to my address list. I wrote whatever encouragements I could think of. It was both a challenge and a joy.
This year, I bought another roll of 100 postcard stamps and I’m collecting addresses again. I want to break art and creative generosity away from social media and get it straight to your mailbox.

What to Expect
When you sign up, I add your address to my project list and I will include you in my monthly newsletter so you receive project updates. I will honor your privacy and never share your personal information.
I will only send postcards to addresses within the United States. Thanks for understanding!
You cannot choose your card or what is written on it, but you can share encouragements or preferences on my instagram and youtube by commenting on videos and posts. As always, keep it kind.
My address list will cap at 100. I aim to work through those 100 addresses in batches of 4, with one batch per week. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, please be patient and check the newsletter for updates!
If I run out of addresses before I reach 100 cards, I will start sending cards to those at the beginning of the list. So there is a small chance that you will receive two.
The art will get damaged as it goes through the mail. It is all part of the interactive art process. If you want pristine work, visit my shop for prints or request an original here.
I cannot track the cards once they’re out of my hands. If I am wrapping up the project and you still haven’t received yours, feel free to check in.
This project is entirely out of pocket.
